Jackson County Courthouse, located at 415 E. 12th Street in Downtown Kansas City, Missouri, was an Art Deco building designed by Wight and Wight in 1934. It was part of a series of government buildings, including Kansas City City Hall, built in the midst of the great depression in Kansas City. Harry S. Truman’s office during his first term as U.S. Senator was in this building from 1935 to 1939.
