Braving the Huskers-GameDay-Traffic, I chirpily drove toward the Memorial Stadium like an excited little-wee-wee-wee-piggy-with-a-music-degree to redeem my complimentary parking spot in downtown Lincoln. The city looked very different. A massive army of Cornhuskers fans enthusiastically patrolled downtown streets in their Big-Red T-shirt; chant of “Go-Big-Red” constantly blasted into the thrilling atmosphere; countless colonies of tailgate parties energetically stuffed parking lots with foods, laughter, and fun-fun-fun lawn games such as Cornhole.

Huskers Gameday. A gigantic deal around here.
