Farmers Bank in Nebraska City occupies an old Richardsonian Romanesque building on South 8th Street in Nebraska City, Nebraska. The structure, listed in the National Register of Historic Places, was built in 1886 mainly as a post office with a federal court room in the second level of the building. After being purchased by Farmers Bank in 1988, the structure was extensively renovated and opened as city’s only locally owned bank in 1988.
