Water Tower Place, named after the Chicago Water Tower, was a skyscraper built by Urban Retail Properties in 1975 in the Old Chicago Water Tower District. The 74-story skyscraper contains condominiums, Ritz-Carlton hotel, office space, and an eight-level indoor mall with over 100 shops.
