Suburban World Theatre | Minneapolis, Minnesota | 2010 | Photo by Jen-Kuang Chang The Suburban World Theatre, built in 1927 in the Granada Style with design by architect Jack Liebenberg, is located in the Calhoun Square in the fashionable Uptown District in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 1991, the Minneapolis City Council included the structure on its important historical building list. The building is currently the only surviving atmospheric theater in Minneapolis.
